RedPen BluePen is a small company based in Edinburgh, run by an enthusiastic, talented and experienced writer. Openness is extremely important to me and, as such, I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and why I believe I am the right person to help the quality of your work shine through.
I am an honour’s graduate of the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh (2001) and also gained a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the Open University (2012). I bring enthusiasm, dedication and meticulous attention to detail to every project and work collaboratively with each client to ensure they’re happy with the end result.
I work across the full range of services offered by RedPen BluePen having edited documents for academics, community groups, writers and businesses; and have also undertaken research projects for business. I am familiar with academic conventions and will work within the particular style guide required by you or your institution.
Creatively, I am currently working on fiction (the historical figure of Macbeth) and non-fiction projects (memoir and Scottish culture) which will be published under the RedPen BluePen umbrella within the next 12 months.
